Understand why a completed capital decision produced the outcome it did—using your own history as the evidence.
You provide materials from the decision—deal documents, board decks, financial results, whatever exists. There is no live working session; the entire engagement is asynchronous. I run the decision through the FPI™ pattern database and deliver a written memo.
The memo identifies which specific documented patterns were active in the decision, with historical evidence and cross-validation—and, unlike a forward-looking engagement, connects those patterns directly to the outcome you actually experienced. This is something a live decision can’t offer: a documented, source-traceable explanation for a result you already have, in the same vocabulary FPI™ uses to read a decision before its outcome is known.
FPI™ Hindsight is a standalone engagement. It does not credit toward Insight or any other engagement—this is deliberate. The value here is diagnostic, not evidentiary: it demonstrates how the framework reads a situation. It is not a test of whether the framework would have flagged the risk in advance, and we don’t present it as one.
If your decision hasn’t been made yet—and the outcome is still avoidable—FPI™ Insight applies the same framework before capital is committed.
